ScreenME Conference: Current Trends in the Screen Media Industry
September 14th, 2023, marked an important day for ScreenME as we hosted a conference at Tallinn University. This event held a unique significance, as it served as a nexus between academia, industry, and policymakers.
With a diverse lineup of both Estonian and international speakers, our conference delved into the current trends within the screen media industry, explored entrepreneurial ventures within this domain, and emphasized the pivotal role of collaboration between industry and academia.
The event featured an impressive line-up of keynotes and plenaries, offering profound insights into these vital facets of the screen media landscape. What truly made the day exceptional was the remarkable turnout, with almost 200 participants joining us in person. The day was moderated by Ulrike Rohn, who is Professor of Media Management and Economics at Tallinn University and who also serve as the head of the international ScreenME consortium.
